This instrument generally is applied to remove dental plaque. Technically, this instrument is developed based on ultrasonic waves. As a part of this instrument, there is a handpiece that is installed on a pen to generate vibrations on tip of the pen. This vibration on the tip of the pen does the tooth scaling.
